Quick Newbie Question?

OK, I've been reading over the PHB & DMG the last week, and I suddenly can't remeber or find the meaning to one of the acronym's. What the heck is DC? ANd where do I find it in the book(s)? Thanks

DC = Difficulty Class. It's the number that you need to achieve to succeed on a check or a saving throw. It's in the PHB glossary (pg.277), as well as under Skills (pg.60) and Spells (pg.150).
