Quiver

It's in a book called Traps and ...

I had a friend who wanted to have one, so I built it from scratch using T&B. I play in a non-psionic world, , so I changed Bolt to a 0 level Arcane spell. I used that to create a chargeless, use activated Wonderous Item at 2,000 GP. The bolts or arrows it creates only last till the end of the next round, so no mass production, and no trace for the Rogues I made them for. I don't think 5,000 GP is too much, but it is more of a paper saver for most games, as opposed to a major advantage.

I was also toying with the idea of doing the same thing with Major Creation. Unlimited Adamantine arrows, Mithral, Masterwork, ect. But It was around 56,000 GP, so it would be a while.

Check the number of 0s in the post the traps and whatever book puts it at 50,000 if he/she types right. Now that's jsut lame.

IIRC, some languages like maybe Spanish use a comma where we'd use a period, so using commas might not be the best idea. I think that SI uses a space: 50 000. Scientific notation works as well.

Back on topic:

For fifty thousand GP, those arrows had better have some magic to them.

It was Traps and Treachery by Fantasy Flight Games
as for the quiver..
just gave you unlimited arrows
not a bad thing for an AA
but that is another posting

The techinical price for 150/day +5 arrow quiver would be 54k gcs so not really unlimited, that would cost 90k. The arrows would only remain magical for the day.

The only way you could justify 50k for an everful quiver is if you are supplying an army with arrows in a siege and you just constantly shake the thing and get a huge pile of arrows.

You could use the arrows as convienient firewood and you could melt down the arrowheads instead of smelting ore to provide metal. A quiver shaker would replace the jobs of many treecutters and miners. Get 10 quiver shakers to work 24/7 and you fuel a small town's economy.

An everful quiver of normal arrows for personal use would probably run about 4k with the arrows dissappearing 1 round after creation.
