The first book is in the layout stage, the second book is waiting in the wings. They are currently pencilled in for March and April release, respectively. I've been done with the text since September, except for a few minor edits, and since then, I've painted and drawn something like 60 illustrations. Some details I can share with you: the Primer has general background on the game world and includes nearly everything a player needs to create and manage their characters: seventeen cultural backgrounds, seven new core classes, nine prestige classes, guns, fencing weapons, new feats, new magic spells, rules for working psionics into the game. The Gazetteer has summaries of the different campaign types suitable for the game world, a detailed overview of politics, secret societies, and warfare; an atlas and gazetteer of locations in the game; magic items, encounter tables, monsters, big-name NPCs, and inventions. Here's an excerpt from my back cover blurb for the Primer (I don't know if Atlas will actually use it, but it's as good a summary as any for people who never saw Septentrionalis): "Northern Crown: New World Adventures re-imagines America’s past as a setting for heroic fantasy. This d20 System campaign setting draws upon the myths and history of Europeans, Africans, and native Americans to create a place where witches haunt the skies of Puritan New England, Cimmarons fight for freedom in the hills of Hispaniola, and an alliance of native nations guards the forests against ancient evils and new colonial ambitions.
