You mean a backpack you could drop as a free action, much like you could drop an item held in hand?

I just call them a masterwork backpack. All it needs is a pin at the front holding the straps together. Pull the pin and it falls off.

I guess I am wondering what it is your looking for exactly?

Something you can drop quickly or get items from quickly?

Otherwise I would say Haver's Handy Haversack might be what your looking for

Specifics....personl carrying a heavy backpack wants to move quickly in combat. Quick release backpack, as a method of getting the backpack off very quickly. I think I am just going to rule it can be done as part of a move action if you have a BAB of +1 or greater.


HHH would be nice, but we are talking first level characters in a very poor area.

HHH has become so overused it's laughable. The answer to every player's encumbrance problems is always the same: "I'll buy a HHH".
