Steeliest of the dragons
Such a talent. Such iconic imagery, setting a standard and sparking imaginations for an entire D&D generation that remains some of D&D's most evocative artwork to this day.

There's a link and more info on the Front Page.

The Wormy comics were some of the earliest memories I have of D&D, and the cover of the AD&D PHB stands out as a paragon of evocative rpg art. There's a collection of Wormy here <https://sites.google.com/site/wormycollected/Home>, that I've been re-reading this morning in memory.

What I find saddest is that he wanted to distance himself so much from the games. I'm not sure anyone has ever really found out what happened that made him want to become so insular. His art certainly helped inspire the games, and a generation of gamers. It would have been nice to see him involved with gaming again. Another one of the originals gone.

Just "ditto" to this. I do hope he had time to make sure all affairs were in order with any friends and family before his passing, and that they can find a measure of peace.
