I like to ask what are good names planar beings? Or what is the best way to make names for creatures/playable races from a unique plane?

A little more information would be useful. What sort of planar beings are we talking about? Do they tend to be evil, good or neither?

Evil beings I give names with a lot of gutteral sounds and X's and Z's.

Good beings tend towards sibilants and e, i and o vowels.

I really like to have names consistent within a given race. Oftentimes I look to real world languages to give names to beings of a given race.

Don't worry if your fiend, angel, or orc is named after a river or you just pick two or three syllables from different words that you like.

Maybe try to pick a language that sounds somewhat like you imagine the race talking. For Fiends I mostly rely on Greek and Latin because it makes them sound more ancient :-)

I'm told that Milton's Paradise Lost is great for outsider names. Sepulchrave sure thinks so, and by gum, that's good enough for me! Also check out the Old Testament. Awesome names abound. The one that springs to mind is Bezalel, which I will soon be using.

Well I am creating a new group of pc races from a new plane for a campaign and I wont them to have an old and alien-like but still horror style of name. Right now I have a new the group already want to give each pc races its name.

Think how each demon or celestial has each creature it's own name.

Very true. Also, look up stuff by John Dee and Alestair Crowley. They should have something useful between the two of them, IIRC. I think Dee was the one who "rediscovered" Enochian.
