Races of Destiny : Radiant Fire feat : Summon Monster?

This feat says "In addition, you may add the following spells to your cleric spell list". And the spells for 3rd, 5th, 6th. 8th are Summon Monster spells. But al of those spells are in cleric spell list from the beginning. What is going on?

Good question. It says "fire elementals" only but you already can summon fire elementals at all these levels.
It's also explicitly limited to clerics.

Maybe you can spontaneously swap for them like healing spells?

I can only guess, but *maybe* some has misread the alignment restriction for Cleric spellcasting. Clerics are not allowed to cast spells of the alignment(s) opposed to their deity (if any). Clerics serving Lawful deities cannot cast Chaotic spells, for example. Perhaps someone is misreading that; instead of "opposed to" they are reading it as "not the same as". Under that sort of ruling, summoning Neutral elementals would not be allowed to Pelor's Clerics.

However, it is certainly a question worth sending to WotC's customer service.

Here comes the answer from CS.

Actually, it's not granting you the ability to cast fire elementals, it is restricting your summoning monsters so that all that you can summon using those spells is fire elementals. Have fun and good gaming!

So, 'adding' spells means that old ones with less restrictions are removed? wow.. sad day.

Maybe toughness is a typo and it actually is a -3 hp each time? Dodge actually makes you jump into the weapon? (dodging away from the miss ).

Pure crazy.
