[Races of Faerun] Spiked Helmet Question

Races of Faerun introduces Spiked and Horned Helmets:

"Deals double damage during a charge, but has a reach of 0 ft."

What does a zero reach mean? Am I missing something completely obvious?

It means you have to enter their square to hit them with it, which provokes an AoO.
