Canukian Confrontation Greets! First, a word about Rackham's miniatures. They're LOVELY. I was lucky enough to get commissioned to paint a few by a friend of mine in the US, on a trade basis (meaning he bought a mini for me to paint for him, and two minis of my choice that I could keep). I'll happily state that they destroy almost everything that GW has ever produced on the same scale (Though the larger scale GW miniatures are quite nice). I'm so impressed by the miniatures that I truly don't mind the price of them. You pay more for quality art. Second, A warning. If your Canadian, the only Canadian place to buy these miniatures (I believe) is Cyberdungeon. You will get a ROYAL run around by them. They aren't as hard to contact as New Wave appearantly is, but they will lie to you about what they have in stock, and what they can get in, and they are not good at getting back to you about your order. Avoid Cyberdungeon. Unfortunatly, like with everything else, you can't get the really cool gaming stuff in Canada. I was forced to go across the border for my second order, and had Brookhurst Hobbies reccomended to me highly. So I put in an order for Vallejo paints (Just TRY to find a Canadian game store site with these listed!), and two sets of Rackham miniatures. I had a few questions about ordering, and they got back to me within an hour of each question, and were very helpful. Oh, and the friend I mentioned earlier? He ordered the commission miniatures for me to paint through Brookhurst and they arrived on his doorstep the very next day, every miniature accounted for. Now, if only they'd open an actual gaming store in Edmonton so I wouldn't have to pay horrifyingly high Import taxes.. So much for free trade :P
