Basic plot: Bunch of barbarians sack a village and throw control torcs on the villagers (oops, I mean collars) –ala Julian May. They are after a sword they believe to be in a cathedral which houses the spirit of a great warrior. That’s it –no subplots. If you are looking for a real quickie filler then there you go, and you do not have to think much because the plot is uncomplicated.

High Points: above average map quality is useful outside of adventure. The brood mother could be really cool unless your characters have seen this type of creature before (such as the brilliant computer game Sanitarium or in the novel Weaveworld by Clive Barker – “mother pus was giving birth!").

Low Points: price is too high for a quarter the size of a standard module which is what brought this to a 2 instead of a 3.

Neat Things: couple of new monsters –always good to keep your players guessing, and reusable which is good too.
