I was looking through a few old Dragon's, and found this fun (and often hilarious) Random Campaign Generator. It's a set phrase, and a series of tables, all based on the almighty d12. Here are a few:
"The player characters are arrogant, stuck-up lawyers sent by their drunken parents on a quest to find a mystical sword. Along the way, they must deal with a swarm of locusts, poor weather conditions, and a killer rabbit, but finally reach their goal. In a final scene of wacky fun, they triumph and are rewarded with sincere thanks and a letter of reference."
These are pretty short, maybe better off as a Random Adventure Generator.
"The player characters are corporate elves sent by a loan shark on a quest to defeat a wealthy relative. Along the way, they must deal with misleading road signs, an asteroid impact, and a coven of diabolical warlocks, but finally reach their goal. In a final scene of amazing herosim, they triumph and are rewarded with an offer of marriage from their employer."
