D&D 5E Random Treasure

I love random treasure. The other night the pcs in my game found a random treasure hoard and a crystal ball was in it! And it's only about the fourth magic item in the group (not counting potions and a couple of magic arrows).

What interesting or cool magic items or other stuff has show up randomly in your 5e game?

Back in 1E, we there we found a random item, and the DM rolled... and back then you had to roll on a chart to see what chart to roll on, which sometimes directed you to another chart..... which had a 1% chance for an Artifact! Yep, we *randomly* found an artifact.
