Day 1: Noon The efficient Deos is able to procure the horses and wagon in under an hour, leaving around half a day's travel. A main road travels north toward Rivenblight with the turn off to Apple Glade about 25 miles from Orussus. Fenwick and Kyle: [SBLOCK]Fenwick knows of a small inn about 15 miles north of Orussus on the way to Apple Glade. Kyle: [SBLOCK]They serve an excellent roast duck and an exquisite, malty, dark beer.[/SBLOCK][/SBLOCK] Assuming you leave right away (feel free to wait until morning): The group sets off, their stomach's full of the Red Dragon's cooking for the last time ... at least for a few days. The wagon rumbles through the northern gates of Orussus, along with other travelers returning to the country after selling in the morning markets. The road is well traveled and other than the occasional hole, the wagon rides fairly smoothly. You notice the guards at the gate paying a little more attention to each of you (especially Lupic) than the most the rest of the travelers, and you receive an occasional glance from other passers-by, probably wondering what a group of armed men is doing with a wagon full of ... other armed men. OOC: Sorry for the delay. I belive we have lost Tinner. At this point, the group is Deos, Semabin, Lupic, Kyle and Fenwick. The speed of a wagon is 16 miles per day. Today is Day 1 of the investigation. Day 13 will be the day Mr. Hessen is expected to deliver the ransom. Any particular precautions, marching order? Who's riding in the wagon and who's on the horses?
