OK, then some banning would have been in order. If we think about it, the "no novel discussions" will punish whom? Will it stop some messed-up idiots from going "YOUR BOOK SUCKS I'LL BURN YOU ON THE STAKE FOR THAT ONE! AAAAAARGHHHH!" No. If they want, they will start threats about it faster than the WizO's can close them. But the average guy who just wants to discuss the FR properly, and goes to a place he thinks should be suited for it, he gets the shaft... It's because you aren't allowed to speak about novels. They have no software that deletes the words as you write it or something. And trolls never cared much about what they were allowed to do Well, you must concede that the "r"-topic appeared at least 3 times in elaines books: There was that human who wanted to do it to her half-elven harper assassin hero (but it was her mother who was summoned forth by her sword, and she used the magic she got - and her daughter hadn't - and fried the bastard). Then the vhearaunans talk about doing it to Liriel - and one of them says that "they serve a god, not a goddess (as in Lolth-dominated Drow cultures, women are so high and holy that noone would think about doing anything to any drow woman). And in Windwalker, someone wanted to do it to some elven girl, who played dead (as in actually dead) and he got scared. So Cunningham courted that particular disaster (and I have to say that the topic appears in a couple of other novels, too) Let's see how that candlekeep board's looking.
