I tried to keep it shortOk, so me (20th lvl sorc/aileniest) and my next-door neighbor(20th pally, go figure)&nbsp; both coincidentially find ourselves in financial straits. *hook*&nbsp; Since A) Dragons have lots of money&nbsp; B) Pally's are dumb&nbsp; C) I'm completely insane from all my contact with the outer things....I Talk my next-door neighbor into comming with me to kill a dragon.&nbsp;&nbsp; (we are, of course, just between campaigns right now and killing time) i throw some food into a haversack, grab my iron golem and ghostball familiar, pick up my new friend, and head on south, where i've heard there's a dragon about a certain volcano.&nbsp;&nbsp; Sure enough, we camp out for a few days, and we do indeed see the dragon.&nbsp; A nice, juicy red one.&nbsp; Unfortunately, it sees us as well, goes invis and proceeds to get the drop on us (pally was on guard duty, and had no way to cope with inivs, or even darkness)&nbsp;&nbsp; It's fly-by attacking, breathing flames at us, and using spells and such to make any B.A.D.D. member proud, and the palidin JUST STANDS THERE!!!&nbsp; &nbsp; It's at this point i discover: -He has no means of aerial locomotion-He has no ranged attacks-He expected his horse to be of some good (i'm sure it tasted great) So i throw a fly spell on him.&nbsp; He promptly charges the dragon, getting his one attack in for something like 70 damage.&nbsp;&nbsp; not bad, i think.&nbsp; finally getting some help here....*DOH*&nbsp;&nbsp; the dragon, on it's init, promptly full round-attacks him into the dirt.&nbsp; I get lucky and manage to get the dragon to retreat and go home to lick my wounds.What i learned from this expierence:&nbsp;&nbsp; Next tine you find your self in financial straits, and there's a dumb paladin nearby, sacrifice him to a pit fiend for money.&nbsp; In fact, i hear one's taken up residence with a couple of local girls not too far from here.....</blockquote>
