I do think to state the opinion that you don't want something in the core game. It is an equal opinion. It is perfectly fine to state that. I can say, I think the shield spell should not be in the PHB because it makes caster defense too strong. Or I can say that healing spirit should be out, because it dwarves every other healing spell. I can also say that I think artificers and warforged should not be in the core game, because I feel it does not fit in. Those are perfectly fine opinions. One reason is, that if something is assumed core, you might come over as a *** if you tell players no all the time. If some things are presented as options, maybe for races, classes and healing there could be examples: For low fantasy use classes x and races y. For magitech settings consider using those, it would be better. Still a game is stronger thematically if it has something like default option presented. There is however a practical reason: for everything in the book, I don't like, something I might have like has no space. But now the most important part: while you may have an opinion, that does not mean that you are entitled to constantly whine about it everywhere and calling people fanboys (a popular tactic) if they like something as it is presented... Instead you should be happy for them that this time they get everything they like and just as you suggest change or ignore those few aspects, or if there is too much, consider a different game you like more. Just a thing because someone esle mentioned it:
I also think diablo immortal is a fine game where even as a free to play player you make very fast progress. The only thing I don't like is being bombed by reminders what you could do which makes you feel a bit under preassure to improve your character fast. But compared to the nostalgicly best game d2, I think the game allows for easy access to high level gear and a lot of variety in what you can do. I think people who review bombed have just forgotten that blizzard would have never been able to complete d4 any day earlier if diablo immortal did not exist and they forgot how excruciatingly boring d2 progression would be today.[/]
