And, at the end of the day, it turned out that the player in question wasn't really all that interested in the game in the first place. They were looking for something different to pique their interest, but they almost certainly would have dropped out anyway, even if I'd said yes to the alien. I was right to say no, they elected not to participate at all, and they rejoined us later when I was running a game more to their liking. Everyone was better off.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Sure.
