No one had read the novels and they were all new players. Everybody had a blast and to date it is still considered the best campaign we ever ran. The modules needed some work here and there but they did include some great dungeons, a cool battle on dragons, cool villains, a bit of comic relief now and then, ... Nobody ever complained about railroading. For us the modules had everything a good campaign needs.It kept us going for 2 years, playing once or twice week. Once we had finished it I immediately started looking for something like it. In the end I had to wait till last year or so for the Dungeon Adventure path to find anything decent.</blockquote>
