Ok, then. sloppy - Quite the opposite - fastidious you might say. unwashed - Shower every morning, more often if I've been doing chores or been outside. I think the fact that I even go outside lowers my geek factor a bit. I *like* the sun.... ;) obsessive - Rarely. skinny/fat guy - More muscular. poor social skills - I tend to be quiet, but can hang with the best of them at sports bars, casual events, or formal parties. male - Yes under 30 - Mid-thirties. bearded - Never. wears lots of black t-shirts - I have some old concert shirts and some "geek" shirts, but never wear them. Way too hot. Give me a nice blue or green shirt instead. plays Evercrack obsessively - Bleh. Can't stand MMORPGs at all. lives in his parents' basement - Own my own home. doesn't have a job - Have a very stable job with a very good salary. And 4 weeks paid vacation! never had a girlfriend - Married now, but had quite a few before. enjoys geeky hobbies apart form gaming - Yes. Sci-fi, video games, and comics. Most people are surprised to find out that I play that "D&D" game. I have a professional job at a large financial institution, am married with two cats and a dog - have three cars (including the indulgent sports car), enjoy cycling and working out, hanging at the park, hiking - anything outdoors. I dress casual - but upscale casual. Clean-shaven, short hair. Nothing outwards that would say "hey, I'm a geek too!" But, I do have a gaming room - or gaming basement in my case, with all the bookshelves, the gaming table, the computers, books, video games, minis, action figures, legos, dvds, etc. So, I am putting myself at a 1. If you know me, then you know I have a geeky side, but if you just met me, you wouldn't really think I was geeky.
