Blistering Jet of Steam, Combust, Resist Energy.[/sblock][sblock=Appearance]Chao is tall for an elf, and slender as his race usually is.  His posture is straight and stern, never slouching or bending.  His long silver hair is drawn back in a severe braid that emphasizes sharp features which are almost always set impassively when they aren't expressing disapproval.  Covering most of his hair and the top of his head is a thin red veil which flickers and dances in the light, and matches his deep red robes.At his throat hangs a light blue gem that appears to be made of liquid steam.  His arms are encased in carefully wrought bracers and his hands are covered by thin gloves.  On one hip rests a longsword, and on the other a thin wand with a single clear crystal at the end.[/sblock][sblock=Personality]Chao is a firmly principled man, and usually comes across and stern and rather rigid in his views.  He has a great deal of respect for tradition, especially family tradition, even among the shorter-lived races.[/sblock][sblock=History]Shin Chao is the son of Shin Yang, the reknowned warrior who was the fighter who helped saved Hommlet. Like all his family, Chao believes extremely strongly in the value of family and tradition.
