realm coins, a kickstarter to mint coins

I've just and didn't see it posted anywhere. The DM of a new campaign I'm in just used a bunch of coins (not these) for props and it was cool

I really like the Campaign Coins. The other coins look nice, but don't seem to be at the same level.

However, I think that in practice I would have the same issues with actual coins in my game as I had with the EN World Fantasy Money.

I printed off and cut up a whole stack of the EN World Fantasy money and all the players used them instead of physically recording their gold on their character sheets. It was fun at first but, by about 9th or 10th level, the PC's acquire so much gold that it just gets too tedious to keep track of via notes or coins, even with 5,000 and 10,000 gp notes in play.

My group had fun using the notes but I think from now on we'll stick to just recording it all on paper.

I don't think I would ever dream of using the coins for tracking in game wealth.

I bought my original set to use as marks when 4th ed was first rearing it's head, but beyond that, I'd only use them as fodder to get people's imaginations wrapped around a fantasy culture.

At the very least, they will make fancy poker chips.
