I cast "Baconstorm!"
Any links to especially good accountings of any of the published adventure "Greats"?
Lots of people have a list of their personal favorite published adventures. There are a fair number of "The Greats" that pretty much everyone agrees are excellent.
I've read a fair number of the Greats, but played very few of them. So I'm curious to see accounts of some them in action, whether in the form of simple session logs, PC journals, DM recaps, or full-blown story format retellings. I know there's probably a zillion of things like this out there, but do you have any suggestions for especially good (you define "good"
) such adventure tales?
Exactly which adventures(s) or edition isn't too important, as long as it's a highly regarded adventure, and the account itself is reasonably faithful to the original. It'd be especially nice to see some of the more self-contained modules (rather than open-ended, AP-style campaigns) simply because they're shorter-- but really anything would be fun to read. Thanks!
