Recreate Character (spoiler)

Goldrush13

First Post
Hi, i've just lost my best and furthest on in the game character.

Now using debug mode I should definately be able to recreate him perfectly, the only problem is I don't want to have to play all the way through to where I was.

So i've been trying to use dm_jumptopoint commands and although I can do the x y coordinates alright, I can't get to the area as it doesn't recognise it.

It's Shadows of Undrentide and i'm trying to get to the
Stinger caves. (just before you fight that big Manticore thing.)

But anywhere near the start of the interlude would be fine.

Thanks in advance.

No can do

If only it were that simple, the character that I lost was the only one that got as far as the interlude and I quite simply overwrote his progress, so I can only start at chapter one.

But saying that, is there maybe a website that will let me get my hands on a savegame that has went as far as the interlude?
(or further i suppose)

Nope. Never have seen such a thing, and I have pretty fair knowledge of NWN. But SoU is easy-peasy to metagame to the point you want to be at. If you need directions to a good walk-through, just say the word.

BTW, how did you 'lose' the char anyways?

I um, saved over him with a bard I called "MC Hammer".

Seemed like a good idea at the time, I mean he DOES look quite like MC Hammer but thats about as fun as it gets.

I'm not much up on my gamespeak or whatever but I presume metagaming's a quick way through or something?

* actually I've just come back to edit this post and realised that seeing as I can do dm_jumptopoint with just the coordinates I could jump to the ends of each area which would cut down the catchup time to about an hour tops. I just really didn't want to go back and forth from
Tymofarrar (if that's how you spell it) and that woman with the Dragons tooth again.
But using the jump technique will probably be best.

Thanks for the help everyone.
