He grew up in an orphanage that was run by a Tao priest until it was bought and torn down when he was 12. Against his will he was sent off to a military academy where he quickly forged his way to the top of the class without even trying, earning a few enemies along the way. At 18 he graduated and was immediately enlisted in one of the mercenary divisions of a large pharmaceutical corp.</p><p></p><p>He spent four years working his way up through the ranks, eventually becoming one of a few handpicked members of strike team. They were sent out on a mission where they were supposedly there to infiltrate an organization which was developing chemical weapons and destroy the chemicals. However, come to find out, they were actually going in and destroying a medical lab for treating the poor. When some of the patients and doctors resisted, they slaughtered them until Kincaid stumbled upon an old man, the same Tao priest who had raised him, blood pouring from a gunshot wound. The old priest looked upon him as would a dying father who had lost his only son, and died. Kincaid was struck, dropping to his knees he clenched the dead priest to him, the old priest's look burnt into his mind. The fellow members of the strike team saw him clutching the old man to his chest, the team leader, a close friend of Kincaid's, gave only a single look then pulled his pistol and shot Kincaid in the back. Kincaid slipped into unconsciousness.</p><p></p><p>For six months he was in a coma, when he awoke he was in a hospital bed. Six months of physical recovery later and with the last of some hidden away money, he purchased a Ducatti bike, a couple sets of fine clothing, a few pieces of hardware, and for now rents an apartment in The City (old San Fran) while he tries to piece together things.</p></blockquote><p></p>
