Found and nursed back to health by a friend of the family, a childless nobleman who had retired to the country which he and his siblings had come to call an uncle. Fearing another attempt would be made on his life, Gabriel was kept in seclusion in his adopted uncle’s manor, and once he was able to move about again was passed off as a distant cousin who had been sent there to learn the ways of the court.During he time of his convalescence though, Gabriel’s thoughts were on only one thing... revenge against those who killed his family and their proud name. To that end he has studied with the best swordsmen in the realm, backed by the resources of his adopted uncle, driving himself to be the best in the hopes that one day he might find those who dealt him such a terrible blow, and return the pain they have given him tenfold.Determined to continue his family’s honourable service to the crown, even though he has kept his true identity a secret between him and his adopted uncle, Gabriel has recently joined the musketeers to fulfill that obligation.
