This is a playtest draft of Redline, a vehicle building and combat system designed for use with the WOIN rules, but also to be used as a standalone skirmish game.
It hasn't yet been playtested much! It's not a book manuscript - it's quite curt and note-like in places - but it should contain everything needed to build vehicles and fight them against each other. It includes vehicles from the 1960s to now, some military vehicles like tanks, plus some future things like mechs, hoverbikes, walkers, and the like.
For the purposes of this document, assume any character has a dice pool of 4d6 to shoot or do whatever. In the actual game, PCs would be used, but 4d6 works for this.
One fun thing I'm thinking of including [as an optional mini-game] is the Redlining Effect - you heal damage to your vehicle by going faster. Tap into the speed force or whatever. Since turning circles are based on speed and handling class, this would result in vehicles careening around an arena trying to avoid obstacles while keeping their speed up to repair their cars.
