Aaaargh! Once again Fading Suns Victory Point System (FSVPS) didn't make the list... which isn't really all that surprising as it appears to be a niche game system in a group of niche games. Reasons I love FSVPS:

The setting is so deep you can throw a scenario at it and it's bound to stick somewhere (Questing, Intrigue, Merchants, Monsterhunt, and MORE!)
Magic and blasters. Energy shields and demons. Spaceships and swords. Cthulhuesque Horrror and MORE!
I like the system itself. It... clicks with me. I like accents, extended tasks (actual name escapes me), the Spirit Characteristics and the Dreaded Doppelganger: The Dark Twin.
The system is trivially easy (is that even close to correct grammar?) to adopt to other genre as Fading Suns comes close to covering them all anyway.
Reasons I don't run/play FSVPS:

Players are currently very interested in our D&D3e campaign and are leaning towards a d20SW campaign if we go Sci-Fi-like. Since we're playing On-Line adventures take a looooooooooooooooo :::breath::: ooooooooong time to complete.
I'm pretty sure if I could convince them to do Fading Suns, it'd be d20 Fading Suns which is OK, but not what I'm after.
