Referrals?

What is the "Referrals" line in the user profile for and mean?

We don't use 'em. Something to do with getting points for getting new members to sign up. Not sure how it works, exactly, but since we don't use it it doesn't matter.

Huh. And here I had been thinking that the Referrals meant how many times someone had clicked on the 'Report this post to a moderator' about a particular member's posts. Oh well. That's what I get for guessing about what stuff means.

Edit: I just read the above paragraph, and I can see I wasn't clear. Let's say that I reported Piratecat to a moderator twice. He would have 2 referrals, not me. At least that's what I thought the thing meant. Not that it matters. Hmm. I guess I need to lay off the caffeine, eh?

Reporting Piratecat would be funny, just make sure you do it from an account you don't normally use.
