In the end, the following was used:The Drow LA is reduced to +1 for this purpose, since the Drow ability bonusses are on Int and Cha, which is unchanged, and my character won't get access to weapon proficiencies, or automatic languages. Because we were just about to go up to level 8, my XP amount will also be put at a similar position relative to my next level instead of at the usual halfway point.In return, I give up two Artificer levels instead of one, going from Human Artificer 7 to Drow Artificer 5.Since I was planning (and ready) to go into Renegade Mastermaker at lvl 6, but this was delayed because of roleplaying reasons, and I was not too happy in retrospect with the feat I took at lvl 6, all works out ok I guess.Edit: just thought I'd add in the things I DO get, according to my DM:+2 Dexterity, –2 Constitution (elf)Medium (elf)base land speed is 30 feet.(elf)Immunity to magic sleep effects(elf)+2 racial bonus on Will saves against spells and spell-like abilities.(drow)Darkvision out to 120 feet(drow)+2 racial bonus on Listen, Search, and Spot checks. An elf who merely passes within 5 feet of a secret or concealed door is entitled to a Search check to notice it as if she were actively looking for it. Light Blindness (drow) (this basically means -1 to attack rolls, Spot checks and Search checks while in normal daylight)Spell resistance equal to 11 + class levels.Spell-Like Abilities: (1/day): dancing lights, darkness, faerie fire. Caster level equals class levels.(drow)I also get to keep the human bonus feat from first level and the bonus skill points up to and including 5th level, but will no longer gain bonus skill points from subsequent levels.I will keep my current craft reserve from level 7 (including the craft reserve obtained from retain essence) since I am not getting an new Artificer level (which is the stated reset-moment) I also do not get new Action Points, and would keep any remaining ones if I still had them.
