I'll really have to wait and see, but I don't think I'll be spending much this year. I'm very close to the "c'mon 4E", though, considering the Compendiums are the most likely purchases. Castle Greyhawk is a likely purchase, too, just for nostolgia's sake. I'm not too interested in a second round of "Complete X" books due to general rules bloat. Complete Scoundrel was a real stinker, anyway, so no loss. If Complete Champion is interesting, I might pick it up -- since I'm not using anything from Complete Divine, clerics clerics could do with some lovin'. The Eberron books look interesting, but not useful to me at the moment since I'm not really running an Eberron campaign (it's a backdrop for my Age of Worms, but that's still pretty vanilla). Which is why I haven't picked up a copy of most of the other great Eberron books. Exemplars of Evil and MM5 are both on the "consider" list, but since I'm still plugging along fine with just MM1, I doubt I'll be getting either. You couldn't pay me to take a book about drow. Anything else falls under the "I'd take it for free" header, but I guarantee I won't be buying any of them. So.... Three likely purchases, all of which are being approached (by me) as finishing pieces for the system (i.e. I'm getting them mainly to consolidate my books and avoid future purchases). Not really a great year, IMO.
