It took a lot to bring him down, but damned if he was going to stay down.Ryan died because of a mistake he made. He admitted as much when he first told ENWorld of his condition. Ryan also died because of beauracratic mistakes, bad reactions to medicine, and a previously impaired immune system. Ultimately Ryan died because he was simply overwhelmed.The one thing that kept him alive for so long was his determination. A determination to live and to experience all that life had to offer. Well, sometimes things win out over your desires, but damned if he was going to let them win without a fight.I believe in life after death. I believe in reincarnation. I have no idea where Ryan is now but I like to think he's now a small boy around two giving his new parents headaches, healthy as a horse, and looking forward to a future in athletics and crushes from boys and young men much like he once was.</blockquote>
