It's been a rough year for me. When CK and I met we were just 8 years old. We were more like twins than friends, totally inseperable... He changed some after 9/11, got a little darker if you know what I mean...everyonce in a while his old self would shine thru though and it reminded me that I had to be patient, that he would be ok. He had really just started to get back to normal when he was killed. Christmas was his favorite time of year, no matter what was going on in his life you could count on him to be wearing a big smile and a Santa hat from the day after Thanksgiving to Three Kings Day...his attitude was infectious...kinda like the Griswalds from Christmas Vacation...you just couldn't be down with him around... I am trying to fill his shoes (or his hat as it were) this year, and it hasn't been easy...our current roster has been together on and off as a game group for almost 15 years...so they miss him, and so do I...quite a bit. His widow, is getting a little better according to my spies in South Jersey...she is actually leaving the house now and appears to be ready to pop any day now. While it's true that she never read any of the responses to her initial post here and at Nutkinland, I did relay everyone's thoughts and well-wishing to her. I'd like to thank everyone who keeps him and his widow in their thoughts and prayers...he could be a cantakerous old goat when he wanted to be, but nowhere on Earth would you find a more loyal and giving friend...I'd have followed him into hell if he had asked. From myself, and the rest of his group (FelixSPQR, Ninjaboy13, Roadrage, Polaris, and Ferris the Menace), and for his wife Lisa, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and may the coming year be better than the last. Cardinal Sinister KS: LOng time no hear, how are you felling buddy?
