Remember folks no posting in the 4e forum unless your here to praise the coming edition and spout on about how the designers are so great and have really read your mind.

Y'know, the only threads that I remember seeing closed, or people being forced on "vacations," were ones that had no actual content, just people being jerks with no real purpose. Occasionally people felt the need to bring up politics. Occasionally they felt the need to make a half-assed attempt at appearing to be a mod.
Lack of praise is one thing; outright trolling and bilious criticism are what the mods are talking about for the most part.
Negative Statement About 4E that is OK: "I don't like this change. Even though I dislike the direction the game is apparently going, I'll just state my dislike and move on like a civilized adult."
Negative Statement About 4E that is NOT OK: "This change is idiotic and anyone who likes it eats babies, also WotC stole my soul and killed my dog and they're just in this for the money and they don't care about MY game and how it's ALWAYS BEEN; they're just changing things to change things and they don't listen to the fans and they don't care about people who've been playing for as long as I have because stupid new people don't care about D&D and WAAAAH WAAAH BOOHOO WOE IS ME I AM BECOME WOTC DESTROYER OF GAMES."
I don't think anyone said you have to praise 4e to post in here, there are plenty of people with legitimate concerns and criticisms that post them here. The problem is when somebody does nothing but spew hate about the edition and disparage the people who are interested in or (gasp!) excited for what is coming. If that is all they do, then they shouldn't bother posting.
Hi all. long time lurker, first time poster. It does seem like 4E has provoked an almost fanatically loyal response in a lot of people. I'm not sure why that is, seeing as how it'll be another 8 months before anyone even sees it.
I'm not trying to add fuel to the fire of arguments. I just wonder if the the pro 4E crowd knows something that I don't. Why are so many people so convinced that this game will rock over beats when they haven't even seen it yet?
And I thought the example the mods made of Razz was enough to stop some to ruin the whole 4E forum for the rest of us who like to discuss 4E with a slightly more critical mindset. :\
