Message: <blockquote data-quote="Crothian" data-source="post: 2692699" data-attributes="member: 232">My work is a public place and people are free to question it whenever they want.  I know its your opinion and I'm always curious to hear what and why people think about reviewers.  What is wrong for getting paid to do a review?  I don't get paid for them, but I'm just curious.  I can spend anywhere from 3 to 30 hours (Arcana Evolved) working on a review.  I think its nice to get soemthing something in return for my time.  Truthfully, its not something I place in the review because It doesn't matter to me.  I try to place things in the review that matter to the review.  I've also never had anyone ask about it.  I've gotten afair share of complaints but never this one.  I'm still not sure on how the perception of the reader changes.  Is a review of a book I bought assumed to be more honest then one I got for free?  How is the perception being altered?</blockquote>
