I think it's best to have it tied to your medical knowledge than having separate. Otherwise I could use Profession(Librarian) as a general experience with books of any sort, and thus the skill to help people finding the topic they're looking for.

It does not automatically grant the ability to be able to use the filing system of a library in general - which is one of the main prerequisites for efficiently doing library based research.
