My apologies, but this seems to be the most appropriate forum for to post an open resume. My name is Michael Morris, a 27 year old native of Williamsburg Kentucky. I am looking for work as a layout artist, playtester, and editor. Much of my work in the d20 field is hosted here at ENWorld - the Dusk campaign setting. I also have samples of other professional work I have done available. I am available for freelance or in house work. I am willing to relocate to anywhere within the US and Canada on short notice, and possibly to Britain given time to prepare. Layout Art I am proficient in general title graphics design and layout using Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. I am also proficient with the Campaign Cartographer mapping program. In addition to the work I've done for my own netbooks I have prepared professional instruction manuals for Plumber's Eye Inc. and Yellow Page ads for Rx Rooter, USA Rooter, Action Plumbing and One Hour Plumbing. These ads saw publication in phone books distributed in Denver CO, Grand Rapids MI, Louisville KY and Lexington KY. At the University of Kentucky I studied computer art layout design. I am qualified to design and assemble advertisements for publications such as Dragon and also work on the layouts of entire books. Editor In addition to doing layout work for Plumber's Eye I was also their proofreader for their manuals. As to my experience for d20, I think I can say that Dusk speaks for me here. I try to keep the site relatively clear of errors, but catching one's own mistakes is always more difficult than catching the typo's made by someone else. I am familiar with the formatting standards of the d20 industry and can make sure that a submission conforms to formatting standards.
