Feeblemind specifically calls out a handful of spells that can counter it, but Resurgence is not one of them. However, Resurgence came out in later books, and specifically says it allows a reroll of a saving throw. So can someone under a Feeblemind have a Resurgence cast upon them to get a second try to save? If so, would we agree that Resurgence does an end-run around the otherwise very high-level spells that are needed to counter it?
There doesn't seem to be an time limit, either. If someone is under the effects of a spell for a week, I could cast Resurgence days after the person failed the saving throw, and give that person a second try. True?
Also, Resurgence says you can re-save against a spell with "ongoing effects." Is there any actual designation in the spell listings that shows "this is an ongoing effect" or is it a general term that relies upon common sense for its application?
Also, if it is allowed and if the second saving throw fails, can it be cast again to grant another saving throw?
