[QUOTE="Nightfall, post: 6561565, member: 374"] Well the results can always return! :) Especially since I think some of the setting needs a little more...coalescing to get it to feel less disjointed. With that I present you the opening preamble by yours truly! To the Heads of Ghelspad, Asherak, and Termena, With the advent of the Second Great Era, we are all looking towards what changes have been wrought by the Second Titanswar. But it of course a misnomer to consider this merely a divine versus titan issue. It was and still is very much a mortal issue. An issue for us, we band of humans, elves, dwarves, halflings, gnolls and terali to find our way in light of much change. The second demise of Mesos, this time culminating with his imprisonment by Yugman and his tower, provides more stability. Indeed thanks to his sacrifice of sanity and soul, along with the return of Hedrad's daughter, Immatuk as the goddess of wizardry, much of the arcane heat generated by Mesos first demise has been diminished. Still there are some that claim that this is a temporary solution. While I cannot say for certain, I believe it will be many centuries before this occurs. Perhaps by then, mankind and the divine races will have reached a power equal to Titans, if only to preclude their return. So it is now, that I turn to writing this history, brief and recent to many, but still important to our futures. For without the past to guide us, the dead that gave their lives have little to enjoy. It is, however, not for enjoyment I write this treatise. No, it to showcase the actual truths that had been hidden from us for so long. Because only by truth, no matter the color, we can truly be able to prepare our way towards the future. - written by Bl'ayne Nightfall - Sage of Shelzar, Page of Nemorga, God of the Dead and Balancer of All.
