Very nice! If I had about 3 less expensive hobbies, I'd love to give painted metal minis a go.

Alas, lack of time and money have conspired against me again :mad:

Again, nice work.

SPOILERS

Looks good. How did your PC's get past the Dragon? We almost had a TPK becasue we could not see anything when the dragon was using hover and our mage flew above the hover and threw fireballs blindly into the frey, killing my animal companion and KOing a few others. It was one of the most memorable fights ever. The DM was kind and had the big blue fly away after he took a few blows from our wizard, and of course killed our wizard.

Yep,we just played the moathouse last night and that hover was one tuff son of a gun.Three of us ended up dying, lucky we carry back up characters though. We went back and thank heavens the dragon was still partially wounded from the last fight, cause he only got to use his lightning once this time, and then we chopped him up.I being a barbarian of course ran down the stairs recklessly and just about to get attacked by two humanoids....that is where we left off last night.

Outside of chopping the dragon up, that is exactly where we stopped. I loved the module up to the point where you enter the temple. You have some good gaming ahead of you.

Heh, our approach to the dragon were... different.

We had to deal with him twice. The first time was on the way in. Being a sneaky group, we actually encountered him inside (barely). Our solution: Grapple!!! Yup, we wrestled with the dragon.

That didn't work so well (although better than you'd think), and we got a little dose of his hover. Realizing that he was way faster than us and not wanting to risk combat in open country, we ran inside and down the stairs.

<EVEN MORE SPOILERS...>

We actually found the picks and _mined_ our way through the wall blocking the escape tunnel, giving us a way out that didn't require facing the dragon.

Our pride was wounded, though, and we talked with our patron about the dragon (we're being groomed for something in particular). He managed to find someone who would be willing to keep the dragon from flying and we got a rematch on our terms.

Basically, someone cast several Walls of Force over the Moathouse courtyard at 10', so that the dragon couldn't get a lift-off. From there, it was a nasty fight (no one with a fighter BAB and our only arcane caster is a bard), but we got the dragon.

Pretty sure the DM modified the XP of the encounter, FWIW.

So everyone tells me,I am really looking forward to it.This is the first Greyhawk game I have ever been in and it has been tons of fun,and in some ways alot simpler than a traditional dnd game.

Spoilers

The PCs in my game were 6th level so they had an easier time facing her. They couldn't do too much damage, though, but the monk was really hard to hurt. Evasion and movement, you know. I didn't use the hover ability because it had been raining and I always thought that was pretty cheesy anyways.

So she left after running down to around 15-20 hit points. She'll be back sooner or later.

The first adventure is also on the site. Here's the url:
