Yes, I'm lurking. You're right about my not making a penny, and frankly, that's never been my intent. This all started as a fan's effort and the desire to get a copy of the rules into my monolingual players' hands, and one thing led to another. Eventually I had a substantial translation on my hands and it seemed a shame not to introduce it to the English-speaking gaming world at large. I currently have a license from Multisim (the game's French publisher and international copyright holder) to sell Rêve in English for a while--but not indefinitely. When that license expires I'll re-evaluate where we are (as I am sure will Multisim). Yes, it would be great to publish a print version. I'd love to see English-speaking players get their hands on all of Rolland's artwork (not just most of it) and Florence Magnin's wonderful cover/box art (I like the boxed version better than the bound one but I imagine it was horribly expensive to produce). And I won't go into the pros and cons of PDFs here. But I will say that right now it's either a PDF version or no version. Maybe if the electronic version can establish a sufficient "installed base" then one could justify traditional publishing, but right now it's too early to tell--after all, we've only been selling this for a couple of months, and word is only now starting to get out. Time will tell.
