It'd be impossible for everything to be reprinted that way, and even if they could, people would be up in arms over the sheer amount of rehashed material. So, saying it wasn't in a book doesn't make the idea any less good.Secondly, those snow elves were printed in Dragon around late 2E, and back then, Dragon was published in-house, meaning that the entire magazine was a TSR/WotC-logo production. Snow elves were a good idea, hence why they got mentioned a few times afterwards (such as a snow elf deity in an article expanding the Seldarine later).lol, and in a fit of irony, you're now referencing an article from Dragon, which you just cast aspersions on as not having good ideas. That aside, the article you're talking about was from late 2E, and by then derro had already been around for quite a while, on many worlds, including Toril, so they do indeed make sense in the Forgotten Realms.I vaguely recall that, and I thought it was something to contemplate. btw, Spelljammer, iirc, insinuated that, it didn't outrightly say it was true. That was what made the idea so great to contemplate. I think we should use all those wonderful (<- not sarcasm) ideas.</blockquote>
