Suddenly Evil Capitalist (boo. hiss.) shows up and threatens to buy them out and sell their research to the Military (boo. hiss...oh wait, it's post 911. Are we supposed to reflexively boo/hiss the military anymore?)</p><p></p><p>My question is, why would Evil Capitalist (boo. hiss.) sell the [cure for cancer/secret of immortality] to the military for maybe a billion, tops---when his company could market it themselves and make <em>hundreds</em> of billions?</p><p></p><p>Boo.
