Reviews/marketing advice??

Not sure if this is the best place to ask for advice, so feel free to move the post if not!
I've been publishing rpgs on DrivethruRPG for awhile as a hobby mostly, but lately I thought I'd like to take the promotion/marketing part a little more seriously--actually I've done next to zero of that so far... I'm totally clueless.
I see reviews here on ENWorld, but how does one go about trying to get people to review your work? Do I just try asking the people I see doing reviews on site?
Any other advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

I post some stuff to DMsGuild, but it is kind of basic from what I see others do. I do not have great advice, but I see everyone with a cool cover today. Some might be the free art or something produced to fit the product. Seems a cool cover means what is inside is better somehow.

I’ve been in a similar boat trying to promote a side project, and asking people for reviews can be super helpful. It’s definitely worth reaching out directly to reviewers you see on ENWorld or other forums—they’re usually open to checking out new stuff, especially if you approach them casually. I also found that engaging with the community more often can lead to organic reviews without even asking. For my small business, I used local SEO to boost my GMB ranking, and honestly, little tweaks like that made a noticeable difference in how many people noticed my work.
