Reviews problem

Sure, go with the new name and repost the review. I've never had problems deleting reviews, so once you get it reposted I'll delete the original.

Forget it. I can't create a new account because I'm trying to use the same email address. So just leave it as is. If I end up writing more reviews (which I plan on doing soon) I'll deal with it then. Talk about too much trouble...

I bet it has something to do with the fact that I have an ' in the middle of my user name, since thats where the name problem occurs. It's probably not recognizing the name when it throws the slashes into the name as non-alphanumeric characters. Other message boards sometimes won't accept my name, and I have to go with Cthulhus Librarian instead.

Maybe I should just create a new account without the ', and repost the review from that name? Do you think you'd be able to delete this review at that point, or would we end up with 2 of the same reviews by me under different names?

' is a reserved character in MySQL, so yes that could very well cause a problem if the original programmers forgot to use an addslashes call. :(

Anyway, this is one of the many problems I'm pondering dealing with when I go to do the conversion and merger to vbulletin. My first project though is a learning project building a spell database.

See, I had to go and be different, use a name that had funky formatting, and go and break things. I can't win.
