Reviews Request

I figure most of the ENWorld reviewers look in the Publisher forum fairly often so I'll post this here.

Could the reviews include a blurb with some key info like book author(s), cover artist, possibly a short list of interior artists, and perhaps editor? It's pretty common for a movie review to include the actors and director, plus extra depending on how geeky the reviewer is.

Personally, I'd like to see a cross-index where you could look up book reviews by any of those criteria but I imagine that'd be a lot of work. Pen & Paper already does that a bit but no links to reviews from there.

I second the motion with the caveat that it should just be the book that has all of these extra fields, not the reviews.

The ability to review recurring items would be nice too. Like the various Asgards or d20zines zines. Make it a separate section: Print, PDF, and Periodicals.

Oops! There's already an author slot in the book description. And Joe's right; that's the best place for that info. I can probably add all the other info in the blurb for a book. It'd be nice to have a lookup database too but I understand it'd be a lot of work.

I like this idea a lot. I could already see where my publication didn't neatly fit even in the PDF category. A Periodicals category would be perfect.

Oh, and the extra info field for products would be an ideal place to put 'other' people involved in the product (either that or provide a link directly to a product page with this info on)
