Revised Corebooks Release Date Changed!

This is an official notice I just got from my distributor as of today:

The street date for WOTC Dungeons and Dragons revised edition core
rulebooks and display (TSR 17522, 17524, 17752, 17755) has been changed to
July 18th, 2003.

Basically, a week.

That means I likely won't see them until GenCon, because there's no way I'm not ordering this online (if it were totally new I wouldn't mind spending a bit more and supporting my FLGS).

Drat.

But the real catcher is this: by the time I own them, I will already have a copy of Arcana Unearthed. My will to care about 3.5 will have been totally sapped away at that point, most likely.

Gencon is still about a week after this release date so I'm still good to go. Overnight shipping is available.

Has there been a shipping date given for Arcana Unearthed? All I can find is a Gencon release. White Wolf is notorious for letting shipping dates slip as their original release date looms closer and closer. About the only guarantee I could guess is "Gencon."

did i miss something? there are now 4 books coming out instead of 3? what is it besides the PHB, DMG, and MM?

The fourth number probably corresponds to the 3.5 "gift set", which is all three core books together in a slipcase, IIRC.

did i miss something? there are now 4 books coming out instead of 3? what is it besides the PHB, DMG, and MM?

The fourth is the standee display for retailers that comes with 6 PHBs and 3 of the DMG and 3 MMs.
Needless to say that's not going to be enough books for my store.
