I don't have time to put up a long report just yet, and I might not for a few days, but I want to note that my damage output during session 8 (as a 5th level character) was troubling. With the addition of the level 5 class feature, my wolf is getting 2 attacks a round and I am getting 1 (with the possibility of a 2nd attack through my bonus action). We had two fights. One fight was against a target that a) had magic resistance and b) was positioned in a location where my wolf could not help. During that fight, our mages and our fighter/archer were the biggest contributors. Our barbarian, as always, was our damage sponge (and I often believe our party would collapse without our barbarian there to take that role). Our second fight was against a bunch of gnolls. When we started fighting the gnolls, I was dealing full damage, and the raw output I started to put out was a little nuts. We will see how the game progresses. Part of the problem is that, as a result of multiclassing, a number of our party is one attack behind. Meanwhile, our fighter/archer had expended all of his superiority dice on the previous encounter (where my wolf was useless). Maybe, as the game goes on, or we get one more level, everything will look balanced again. I was, however, a little worried by the disparity I percieved.
