A creature in a heavily obscured area effectively suffers from the blinded condition (see appendix A).</p><p></p><p><strong>Blinded Condition (PHB 291)</strong></p><p>A blinded creature can't sec and automatically fails any ability check that requires sight. - Attack rolls against the creature have advantage, and the creature's attack rolls have disadvantage</p></blockquote><p></p>
