[QUOTE="Scratched_back, post: 1608380, member: 16262"] Hiya everyone, This is a pretty desperate request going out to everyone who reads/posts on these boards regularly. For the past year and a half I've been part of a gaming session of guys that meet every Friday morning for about 3-4 hours per session. When we started the game everything was unbelieveable, the roleplay was amazing, the teamwork flawless and the comraderie unbeatable. Unfortunately, due to the way the campaign has been going in the last few months, things have been going downhill. Every scrap we've had has been LETHAL, and don't get me wrong, that's a good thing, but they've been so deadly of late that we've kinda slipped out of roleplaying a little, purely to concentrate on not screwing ONE thing up, and the game has almsot become a table-top warfare hack & slash, it's a huge shame. Talking to the other players and the DM, we came to the conclusion that we need to find a way to revitalise the game somehow. Everyone in the game has been playing D&D for the far side of 15 years, myself, about 5 years. Anyway, we decided that an ideal way to get the feeling going again was to play some of the old campaigns, some of the classics, you know the ones. All I need is some help from you guys as to which modules to play through. We want to play something that EMBODIES Dungeons & Dragons, something that is the very spirit and essence of the game, the old stuff. The DM is of group has been playing over 20 years, so he's experienced them all before, but the rest of the group either haven't played "the classics" or have, but have forgotten the details. Can anyone suggest a good module or set of modules? We're a group of four players, all 6th level. A Human Fighter, an Elven Fighter/Mage, a Dwarven Cleric and a Human Rogue. Any suggestions welcome, any help appreciated. P.s. Don't worry too much about the levels being a little too high or a little too low, as I said, the DM is VERY experienced so tailoring things for our group a little shouldn't be too hard. Cheers all!
