Server is open, IP address is ip68-2-244-122.ph.ph.cox.net:6774 EDIT: Session finished. The party ventured deeper into the small underground complex beneath the stone building. In a storage room, the party found some strange magical components and such, plus some potions, spell scrolls, island maps, and minor decorative art pieces. However, as the party filtered out of the room, Goir was attacked suddenly by an unseen creature on the ceiling! The poor rogue was rapidly strangled to death, as Armon tried to slay the creature, but only succeeding after the creature dropped Goir's lifeless corpse and made a break for it. Fleown and Armon tried to apply first aid to the rogue, but it was too late. Then everyone debated returning to the ship with Goir's corpse to see about having him raised from the dead, but Torak, the half-orc marine accompanying the party, convinced them to instead finish looting the underground complex, to pay for Goir's raising and make it back to the ship with at least something to show for their efforts. The party explored a little more of the place, finding a large room filled with desks and tables, covered in alchemical apparatti, tomes of magic and lore, and myriad other trinkets. However, in that room was also four small, skeletal wildcats, apparently animated to guard the room or something. The group dispatched these small nuisances quickly, though suffering from tremendous bad luck and expending much more effort than should have been necessary. The party then took a breather, and will soon finish their work down in the strange complex.
